Christine Greyson is a creative visionary and the driving force behind Elevar Magazine, a music publication dedicated to empowering heavy metal musicians and industry professionals. As a multidimensional artist—singer, writer, painter, videographer, editor, and photographer—Christine Greyson thrives on breaking conventions and connecting with people through innovative ideas and meaningful facilitation.
With a foundation rooted in over 30 years of experience as a vocalist, writer, and with a lifelong love of music, Greyson began performing professionally at 13 as part of a family quartet steeped in Appalachian folk and gospel traditions. This formative experience nurtured a profound understanding of storytelling, harmony, and collaboration that continues to define her work.
Christine Greyson’s educational background in telecommunications—specializing in scriptwriting, television marketing, and videography—was complemented by internships in radio and television, circa early 1990s. Later, advanced studies in graphic design and fine art at a private North Carolina art school deepened her ability to blend technical precision with artistic ingenuity. Today, her expertise extends to fields such as SEO, cybersecurity basics, and AI optimization, reflecting a lifelong commitment to learning and adapting.
Through Elevar Magazine, Greyson continues to defy expectations, curating cutting-edge industry news, conducting insightful interviews with legendary artists like Kiko Loureiro (Solo, Angra, ex-Megadeth), Rob Cavestany (Death Angel), and Jeff Clayton (Antiseen), and delivering honest, impactful music reviews. Her work serves as a platform for artists to explore their potential, bridging the gap between creativity and opportunity.
As a passionate advocate for generalization over specialization, Christine Greyson encourages others to embrace their multifaceted talents. With a natural ability to inspire and guide, Greyson fosters connections and equips artists with the tools and resources to thrive. Currently, Greyson is expanding her focus to include education, aiming to deliver online training sessions and video lectures that empower others to navigate their creative journeys with confidence.
A boundary-pusher at heart, she believes in the transformative power of creativity to connect people and redefine what’s possible. Whether painting evocative visuals, writing compelling narratives, or amplifying the voices of fellow artists, Christine Greyson embodies a bold, innovative spirit that uplifts and inspires.
